Invite a partner or co-hosts

Inviting a co-host is great when you’re splitting tasks (guest list, RSVPs, messaging). The key is choosing the right role up front so you don’t accidentally give someone more access than you meant to.

Manage permissions in one place

Open your event, then go to Permissions to manage members, roles, and pending invites.

Choose the right role

  • Admin: full event control, including invites and integrations.
  • User: collaborator access without full administrative control.

Tip: Keep Admin limited to a small, trusted group.

Invite workflow

  1. Enter your collaborator’s email address.
  2. Choose a role.
  3. Send the invite.
  4. They accept it from their dashboard (look for pending invites).

Invites are tied to the email address you enter. If they sign in with a different email, they won’t see the invite.

Troubleshooting

  • If you see Only admins can invite members → ask an existing event admin to send the invite, or to change your role to Admin in Permissions.
  • If you see Invite already sent → check pending invites (no need to send it again).
  • If they can’t accept the invite → confirm they’re signed in with the exact email you invited (and ask them to check spam/junk for the invite email if applicable).

Quick checklist

  • Pick the role first (Admin vs User).
  • Double-check the email spelling before sending.
  • If it’s stuck, remove the old pending invite and send a fresh one.
