Share your guest pages

There isn’t one “right” way to share guest pages—there’s the way that matches your crowd. The goal is simple: fewer “I can’t find it” texts and fewer last‑minute re-sends.

Choose a sharing style

• Email guests (most guided): best when you want each guest to have their own link.
• One link or QR code (fastest): best for signage, printed inserts, or a wedding website.
• Link + password (simple privacy): best when you want one shared link, but not fully public.

Set it up and send it

Email guests

1. Open your event.
2. Go to Public guest pages.
3. Select Email guests.
4. Make sure your guest list is added first (so Knotty can generate links).
5. Copy the links and send them through your normal email flow.

Tip: This is the best choice when guests aren’t all on the same group text.

QR code or URL

1. In Public guest pages, select QR code or URL.
2. Copy the URL and generate the QR asset.
3. Test it on a phone (camera scan + tap through) before you print anything.

Tip: If you’re printing a QR code, include the typed URL under it for guests who don’t scan.

Link + password

1. In Public guest pages, select Link + password.
2. Create a password that’s easy to type (example: olive-branch).
3. Send the link and password in the same message.

Message template you can copy:

• Link: …
• Password: …
• Tip: “If it says the password is wrong, copy/paste and make sure there aren’t extra spaces.”

Troubleshooting

• If Email guests shows no links → add guests first, then reopen the sharing panel.
• If guests say the password is wrong → confirm the current password in settings, then resend the link + password together (one clean message).
• If guests keep opening an old link from chat history → resend the current link and say “Use this one—older links may not work.”
• If a QR code works for you but not for guests → check the printed QR isn’t blurry, too small, or sitting on a patterned background.

Quick checklist

• Choose the mode that matches how guests actually communicate.
• Test on a phone before printing or posting.
• Keep link + password together (same text/email).
• When in doubt, resend one “official” message guests can search for.
